I remember seeing “Back To The Future” at the drive-in with the family and blown away by Silvestri’s end title music (after “Back In Time” finished!)especially the shimmering of… are they called finger cymbals? playing through the loudspeakers with black screen so I couldn’t actually see the end credits rolling. Which was very annoying. I eventually got a Columbia House edition of the soundtrack album on cassette – even back in the 1980s I didn’t like vinyl! I wish I still had it..
Fun show. (Yes – someone’s listening!)
By the time of BBTF parts II and III, I was working in the local cinema. The punchy openings and big orchestral swells of Silvestri’s end credit tracks for Part III and Roger Rabbit were great for getting the audience to exit feeling excited at the end of the movie.
